This board book goes through many of the temptations a baby or toddler will face in a day. As the child faces each temptation the illustrations show what happens when a bad choice and then a good choice are made.
The pictures in this book are very cute. They are simple, as is the text, and clearly show what will and does happen in each scenario. I really like this book. I honestly did not expect to enjoy it. That being said I have a mixed audience. I have a five year old and a two year old. The two year old was engaged with the storyline and what should and should not be done in each situation. I could see he was taking in each picture. My five year old on the other hand knew which was right and wrong of course. The part he enjoyed was the predictable text and the fact he could “read” the entire book himself. He has taken it to bed the last few nights only to be swiped by me for my review. I think this is a great book for babies on through your pre-reader.
