Maisy Goes to the Museum

Written and illustrated by Lucy Cousins

Candlewick Press

Maisy the mouse is back in another adventure. In this book Maisy and her friends visit a museum that has it all. There are cars, space suits, dress-up areas, mammoths and much more. This book engages children in the idea of a museum as they watch their familiar friends interact with the museum exhibits.

Lucy Cousins never goes wrong, in my opinion, this is another great book for children. My 2 ½ year old loves Maisy and the objects in the book. My 5 ½ year old is engaged in the pictures and talks about the museums we have been to that have similarities and differences.  Great introduction for a child before a trip to the museum as well. Yet another hit from Lucy Cousins!
