Daisy Dawson is a little girl who gets lost in the world and is always getting in trouble for being late to school.  One morning on her way to school she saves a butterfly from harm from a spider, after that strange things begin to happen. Daisy can understand animals and they start talking to her. This new event makes her even more distracted in life.

The idea of this book is cute, but it is not well done. I found the book boring and as much as I wanted to read it and finish it I could not. If you have a child who loves animals and appears to be completely ADD check this book out.  I was not a fan…even though I wanted to be.
